BIOGRAPHY
Brian Allen was born on October 11th, 1995, in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. He is a center in the NFL.
Allen attended Hinsdale Central High School and played college football at the Michigan State University. During high school, Allen played on the defensive line, recording 16 tackles, including three for losses and one sack (11 yards), along with an interception and a fumble recovery in 2013, collected 25 stops and four sacks as a junior in 2012 and 21 tackles and three sacks as a sophomore in 2011.
Allen played for the Michigan State University football team from 2014 to 2017. In 2014 Allen played in 12 games, saw time on the offensive line at both guard spots and center also played on special teams, he was one of four true freshmen to the letter for the Spartans in 2014. Played 316 snaps, recording 25.5 knockdowns and allowing only a half-sack. In 2015 he appeared in all 14 games, including 12 starts (10 at left guard; two at center), and collected 82.5 knockdowns during the regular season, second-most on the team. In 2016 was one of only three players on the team and the only offensive lineman to start all 12 games, he helped the Spartans rack up a season-high 501 yards of total offense, including 260 rushing yards while producing a team-best 12.5 knockdowns. In 2017 Allen started at center in all 13 games. He finished the regular season as the highest-rated center in the Big Ten and No. 5 in the FBS, according to Pro Football Focus. Allen led the offensive line with 98 knockdowns, including a unit-best 23 dominators, he played a team-high 977 snaps. Allen was voted the team's most inspirational player (Biggie Munn Award) on offense.
The Los Angeles Rams drafted Allen in the fourth round with the 111th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. In 2018 the Los Angeles Rams signed Allen to a four-year contract. In 2021, Allen helped the Rams reach Super Bowl LVI where they would defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
In March 2022, he signed a three-year extension.
