BIOGRAPHY

Vince Williams Jr. was born August 30, 2000 in Toledo Ohio. He is a small forward in the NBA.

Williams played basketball for St. John's Jesuit High School and Academy in Toledo, Ohio. In his junior season, he averaged 15.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, earning The Blade Player of the Year honors for a second time. As a senior, Williams averaged 19.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game. He joined William Buford as the only three-time winners of The Blade Player of the Year. Williams finished his career as a two-time first-team All-Ohio and Three Rivers Athletic Conference Player of the Year selection. A three-star recruit, he committed to playing college basketball for VCU. 

As a freshman at VCU, Williams averaged 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. He entered the starting lineup as a junior. Williams averaged 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, earning third-team All-Atlantic 10 honors. He became the team's leader in his senior season. As a senior, Williams averaged 14.1 points, six rebounds and three assists per game, and was named to the first-team All-Atlantic 10. He declared for the 2022 NBA draft and opted to forgo his remaining college eligibility.

At the 2022 NBA Draft, Williams Jr. was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round.
