Advocate Children's Hospital has been a strong component in Lopez's life as he has helped many kids struggling with their health. A children’s specialty hospital that combines extraordinary medical expertise with a child-centered environment, Advocate Children’s Hospital is a premier provider of health care for children throughout the Midwest. Charitable gifts enable us to deliver exceptional care, build state-of-the-art facilities, offer support services for patients and their families, perform community outreach, provide specialized training to our caregivers and provide financial assistance to families so children can get the care they need.
The mission of RMHC is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. Lopez has done many events at the Ronald McDonald House to help kids out who are battling for their lives.
Each day, thousands of people – people just like you – provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world. We roll up our sleeves and donate time, money and blood. We learn or teach life-saving skills so our communities can be better prepared when the need arises. We do this every day because the Red Cross is needed - every day.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago’s food bank. We believe a healthy community starts with food. The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to our Cook County neighbors. We act as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs. These programs provide food where it’s most needed. We also address the root causes of hunger. Public benefits outreach and job training programs offer support for our neighbors to overcome poverty. As the face of hunger in our community has changed, the Food Depository has evolved. Our programs address the specific needs of diverse groups, including children, older adults and veterans.
Next Door provides early childhood education in Milwaukee, helping children and families build a brighter future filled with opportunity and success.
