Bryan Kevin Porter Jr was born on May 4th, 2000, in Seattle, Washington. He is a shooting guard in the NBA. 

Porter's parents are Ayanna and Bryan Kevin Porter Sr. His father was also an athlete, he played football, basketball, and baseball at Rainer Beach High School in the 1990s. Porter also attended Rainer High School, and in memory of his father, he also played sports.  In his senior year, he averaged 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists and finished with a 22-7 record. At the end of the season, he was named Washington Mr. Basketball by the state coaches association. 

Porter was a four-star recruit by ESPN and a five-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals. He was a top-ranked player in the 2018 Class and received multiple college offers, but decided with USC.  In November 2018, he debuted for USC and scored 15 points off the bench on a 6 of 7 shooting in an 83-62 win. Porter finished his freshman season, but then declared for the 2019 NBA draft. 

In the 2019 NBA draft, Porter was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks but was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
