BIOGRAPHY

Clint N'Dumba Capela was born on May 18th, 1994, in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a center in the NBA. 

Capela's first sport was soccer, but due to him being 6ft and 3 in at thirteen years of age, he switched sports.  After meeting his Swiss basketball icon, Thabo Sefolosha, he was more intrigued about basketball. When he was 15 years old, he joined the Chalon-sur-Saone training center in France. In 2014, he declared for the NBA draft. 

In the 2014 NBA draft, he was selected by the Houston Rockets. On July 25th, he signed with them. In his second season, Capela recorded his first double-double with then career-highs of 13 points and 12 rebounds as a starter in 116-110 win against the Sacramento Kings.  In November, he won overtime against the Knicks, by recording his third double-double over a span of four games. 

After the 2017-18 season, Capela became a restricted free agent. On July 27th, 2018, Capela signed a five-year, $90 million extension with the Rockets. In January 3rd, he recorded 29 points and 21 rebounds in a 135–134 overtime win over the Golden State Warriors.
