Bruno Caboclo

BIOGRAPHY

Bruno Caboclo was born on September 21st, 1995, in Osasco, Brazil. He is a small forward for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.

Caboclo started playing basketball ay age 13 for Gremio Recreativo Barueri, which is a social club that invited children from local public schools to play sports. 

In 2014, Caboclo was selected by the Toronto Raptors. In July, he signed with the NBA Summer League. On November 21st, he made his NBA debut against the Milwaukee Bucks. In only 12 minutes of being in action, he recorded 8 points, one rebound, and 1 block in the 124-83 win. 

In July 2015, he re-joined the Raptors in the NBA Summer League. The Raptors exercised their third-year team option on Caboclo's rookie scale contract and extending it through the 2016-17 season. 

On February 8th, 2018, he was traded to the Sacramento Kings. In August, Coboclo signed a training camp contract with the Houston Rockets. He was waived on October 13th.

On January 24th, 2019, the Memphis Grizzlies signed Caboblo on a ten-day contract. On February 3rd, he signed another ten-day contract.  On February 13th, Caboclo signed a multi-year contract with the Grizzlies. He recorded his first double-double and scored a career-high 24 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
