BIOGRAPHY

Jalen Neal was born on August 24, 2003 in Lakewood, California. He is a defender in Major League Soccer. 

While still a member of the LA Galaxy academy, the 17-year-old defender played his first year with LA Galaxy II during 2020 in the USL Championship, where he appeared in multiple positions along the backline during his 13 appearances (12 starts) for Los Dos. 

Since 2016, Neal has also represented the LA Galaxy Academy at the U-13, U-15, U-16/17 and U-18/19 levels, making 69 total appearances in the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy. 

Neal signed a Homegrown contract on Jan. 21, 2021.  The 17-year-old impressed in his first season as a professional with Los Dos, showcasing his versatility playing multiple defensive positions.
