The Pedro Martinez Foundation and more than 40 Dominican Baseball Players and Stars Unite to Donate Resources to Support the Dominican Republic during this COVID-19 Crisis. The Dominican Republic does not have the infrastructure, food supplies and resources that the United States has, therefore, this virus is affecting their communities in a devastating way.
The CDC Foundation is an independent nonprofit and the sole entity created by Congress to mobilize philanthropic and private-sector resources to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s critical health protection work.
