We exist to encourage people to use whatever God-given passion or talent they have to make a difference and give back to people in need. We want to empower people to use their spheres of influence to impact communities positively and to expand God’s Kingdom. We believe that God can transform at-risk children and neighborhoods through the benevolence and impact of others.

Liv has nemaline myopathy, a rare disease that affects skeletal muscles. This makes moving, eating, and even breathing very difficult. The disease is so rare that it took nearly 7 months of constant testing and doctor’s visits to figure out what was wrong. LoveLiv is an annual fundraiser for A Foundation Building Strength for Nemaline Myopathy, the only nonprofit with the singular mission to find treatment for Liv’s disease. For its ninth annual fundraiser LoveLiv will put on a foam rolling and recovery class led by celebrity trainer, Ashley Borden. In 2020, LoveLiv raised over $70k to fund research for Nemaline Myopathy treatment and hope to raise even more in 2021.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals. True to our mission, we have been creating hope and building healthier futures since 1901. We deliver a level of care that’s consistently recognized as some of the best in the world.
There are many reasons a parent may not be able to stay for a long hospitalization, including other children, work, limited days off, and distance. I know that having my parents with me gave me the will to fight. This fund will exclusively help to allow parents to be with their children during hospitalizations through financial help with babysitting, compensation for unpaid leave from work, or even gas cards. Please know that a parent's presence can mean the difference in a child's survival. Thank you for helping children in need.
