Minnesota Military Family Foundation
The MMFF is a community-supported fund founded in November 2004. Contributions are made by people who understand that there are many sacrifices that military families make and want to help soften the financial hardships that may occur, especially when a family member is deployed, by providing a financial safety net. The men and women that serve in our military have given up their freedom to protect the freedom of American citizens and to proactively pursue people who have attacked or plan to attack America and Americans. Contributing to the Minnesota Military Family Foundation is how many of your fellow citizens show their thanks and support to our troops and their families. The Minnesota Military Family Foundation is an all volunteer board with zero overhead.
OUR TEAM IS FOCUSED ON BUILDING EQUITABLE SYSTEMS IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE TRAJECTORY OF DIVERSITY THROUGHOUT BASEBALL. By dedicating ourselves to this cause, players are committing our personal time and energy to build a stronger and more successful game for the future.
#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, we are winning immediate improvements in our lives.
The mission of the Bob Feller Act of Valor Foundation is to recognize and honor our service members and those who support them; to provide support to military families and veteran causes; and to educate on the lessons of citizenship, sacrifice, and service to one’s country.
