Andrew McCutchen was born October 10, 1986, in Fort Meade, Florida. He is a centerfielder in the MLB.

The Pirates selected McCutchen in the first round (11th pick overall) of the 2005 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut in 2009. During McCutchen‘s tenure in Pittsburgh, he was the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player in 2013, a five-time All-Star (2011–15), a four-time Silver Slugger Award winner (2012–15), a Gold Glove Award winner in 2012, and the Roberto Clemente Award winner in 2015. McCutchen led the NL in hits (194) in 2012, and in on-base percentage (.410), OPS (.952), and extra-base hits (69) in 2014.

On January 20, 2023, McCutchen signed a one-year, $5 million contract to return to the Pittsburgh Pirates. On June 11, McCutchen recorded his 2,000th career hit, a single off of New York Mets starter Carlos Carrasco.

McCutchen signed a one-year deal during the winter of 2023 to stay with Pittsburgh through the 2024 season.

He has an Instagram that is home to a number of his too-long-for-a-Vine, too-short-for-film videos, and he spent his quarantine launching a brand new character, Uncle Larry.
